Gemütliche Tage in Salvador

Nach ein paar erlebnisreichen Tagen im Recôncavo haben wir uns auf den Weg nach Salvador gemacht. Dort verbrachten wir ein paar entspannende Tage im Pelourinho, dem historischen Zentrum in der Oberstsadt. Von hier kann man mit dem Lift in die Unterstadt zum Hafen fahren.

Am Samstag Abend besuchen wir ein Reggea-Live-Event und für Dienstag ist natürlich die legendäre Pelô-Nacht angesagt!

Unsere Unterkunft war ganz nach Berliner Stil - KREATIV, ORIGINELL und LIBERAL :)

Am Sonntag fuhren wir an den Strand direkt in der Stadt - hier herrschte tolle Stimmung vor allem wegen dem Stadtderby, dass das Finale der Bahia-Meisterschaft war!!

Zum Abschluss essen wir eine Moqueca - Baianischer Meeresfrüchte-Eintopf mit Kokosmilch und Dendê-Palmöl :-))

Hat mich sehr gefreut, dass ihr mich hier in Brasilien besucht habt, ihr zwei Abenteurer!

Abenteuer Recôncavo

Auf den Dannemann´schen Fazendas kann man so einiges erleben und vor allem viel Interessantes über Tabak erfahren!

Vom Samen bis zum fertig fermentierten Blatt und weiter zur Produktion bis hin zum Marketing und Vertrieb hat das Unternehmen alles in der eigenen Hand. Und so durften wir die "Terra Dannemann" einen Tag lang kennen lernen. Von der Aussaat über die Trockenschuppen und Fermentationshäuser bis zur Sortierung und Klassifizierung der Blätter haben wir den Prozess verfolgt.

Nach einer leckeren Wachtel mit Farofa zum Mittagessen sind wir auf die Fazenda St. Antonio gefahren, wo bereits fertig gesattelte Pferde auf uns warteten und Raimundão hat uns begleitet. Wir durften jeweils unseren eigenen Baum pflanzen - ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis!!!

Ich hab tatsächlich meinen Baum, den ich vor fünf Jahren gefplanzt habe, entdeckt - der "Purga de Cavalo" ist schon ein stämmiges Bäumle geworden!

Danach sind wir noch ein bisschen ausgeritten, zum Stausee galoppiert und zurück über die herrliche Hügellandschaft des Recôncavo :-))   *muito obrigada*

Außerdem haben sich mein Papa und Uwe selbst im Zigarrenrollen versucht! Anbei ein paar Fotos...

Chapada Diamantina National Park

I proudly present:

Chapada Diamantina is a beautiful place on this planet with lotsa waterfalls and caves to discover and so we rented a car and explored the region for one week :-)
I met my friend Eloi again, who I got to know five years ago and so our reunion was  a w e s o m e  !!!

Trekking, hiking, horse-back riding, swimming, fish-massage, running, biking, snorkelling and much more was amongst the activities. Eloi even taught my dad and me how to make a dream-catcher !!
You're amazing Eloi ~thx for making this trip so special for me~

Boah - I was busily moving around throughout the last three weeks, working, visiting friends and utmost excited to receive my dad and Uwe here in Bahia!!!

 teşekkür Ebru for having me three days in your lovely apartment by the beach ... was good seeing you again! I miss you and look 4ward 2CU in Europe :)

After a adventurous trip in georgeous Chapada Diamantina National Park we boarded a catamaran that took us to a small tropical island ... *loving it*
