Sunshine everyday ... below in San Andres at the Playa de las Teresitas
El Teide - with 3,718m above sea level this volcano is Spain's highest peak!
Early afternoon we start climbing up to the "Refugio Schutzhuette" at 3,270m above sea level
We get up at 4am in the morning to gaze up to a sky full of shiny stars - through snow and ice we make our way up to the summit. From there we see an amazing sunrise!
We climb up to the top to see the SUNRISE :)
hot sulphur air comes out of little holes through the rocks and allows us to sit down to heat our bodies in the icy air - the volcano is alive :)

We hike all the way down through the gorge - 3 hours through jungle, over water and rocks, into caves and under a bamboo tunnel ... to the refreshing Atlantic Ocean!
On our last day we dance into the local Romeria = traditional fiesta in Buenavista del Norte
Delicious fresh fish for lunch, before we head back to London :)
